Recommended Conferences

There are many teaching and learning conferences to choose from. These opportunities are offered yearly.

This annual conference is the largest event of its kind in Canada where over 1200 participants from across the country and around the world gather to reflect, discuss, share, and drive knowledge on higher education.

A high energy, summer event bringing teachers together from North America to learn from each other and exchange teaching innovations and solutions to instructional problems. Seminar is based on the principle that teachers are the experts in teaching and learn best from one another.

Offering a variety of sessions, participants can attend interactive sessions formatted as 20- and 40-minute concurrent sessions, or virtual poster gallery.  Programming includes traditional plenary addresses, formal, and informal networking sessions.

The Open Education Conference is an annual convening for sharing and learning about open educational resources, open pedagogy, and open education initiatives. This dynamic gathering celebrates the core values of open education that strive to realize education ecosystems that are accessible, affordable, equitable and inclusive to everyone, regardless of their background.

The conference is the main venue for Open Education practitioners, policy builders, advocates, researchers, students, and decision-makers to share practices, network, and initiate collaborations. Participants collectively discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in open education and share their perspectives on its future direction.
