Hospitality & Tourism Management

School of Business

Bradford Boisvert is an instructor in the hospitality management program with the School of Business. Bradford brings several years of experience teaching at the college in all of the applied learning classes. Often Bradford works on special projects for the department such projects have included the refugee HIRES project in conjunction with WUSC (World University Services of Canada) and the ACATHM( Aboriginal Culinary Arts Tourism Hospitality Management) program located in the community at the Songhees nation. Bradford also is a CFI 鈥 Co-op field instructor for the hospitality department. Over the years he has sat on several committees at the college to better the students' experience.

Bradford came to Camosun with 20 plus years of experience in the hospitality industry and entrepreneurship. At a very early age, Bradford owned his own catering company in his hometown located on the eastern seaboard of the United States. He has held many management positions in the hospitality industry, a few of the highlights include managing foodservice and hospitality operations for the 1996 Olympics as well as the US tennis open.

After receiving his formal training at the Culinary Institute of America in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in hospitality management, Bradford came to Canada to work at the Aerie Resort聽a Relais &聽Chateaux property. Having still had that entrepreneurial spirit he decided to open several restaurants, bakeries, and a Specialty food store here on Vancouver Island. When not teaching you can find Bradford enjoying his passion for gardening, fishing, and camping.
