How people behave and influence the world

If you are curious about the world and want to make a difference, you will love social sciences. By investigating society through an understanding of people, place and power you will develop the critical thinking skills necessary to engage, challenge and change the world. Camosun offers social science courses ineight inter-related subjects, all of which provide university transfercredit.

In the classroom

Study the world around youand learn to build sustainable environments, organizations and communities. Social science courses develop an understanding of diversity of environmental politics, gender relations, global issues, social polarization, labour markets, and more through this interdisciplinary learning environment.
