Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) - Volunteers Needed!
Interested in gaining practical tax experience and helping fellow students? Volunteer with the CVITP that will be occurring at Camosun in April 2025. A volunteer with the CVITP prepares income tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals who have a modest income and simple tax situation.
If you would like to volunteer, follow these steps:

The CPA Financial Literacy Program delivers free, unbiased, and objective financial education to British Columbians and Yukoners of all ages. This session teaches post-secondary students practical ways to take control of their finances.

Industry events for Accounting & Finance students
Calling all BC and Yukon post-secondary students! Are you ready to gain valuable experience solving real-world business problems and win up to $2400? Gather your teammates and join the CPABC Business Case Competition 2025 to demonstrate your skills and creativity.
The CPABC Annual Business Case Competition is a business strategy case competition with two rounds. The top 8 teams from the virtual first round will be invited to compete in the Final Round at the CPABC office in downtown Vancouver, followed by an evening networking and celebration reception at Shangri-La Vancouver.
Registration Deadline is January 24, 2025 at 1:00pm PST

- CPAEF bursaries and scholarships
Every year CPAEF offers a bursary program to BC students based on financial need with two deadlines to apply each year: May 15 and November 15. Scholarships are also available to students attending one of eleven BC post-secondary institutions that do not have named awards: applications are due May 1.
