HHS Community Partnerships

The School of Health and Human Services has a number of community partnerships locally and abroad. We offer community practice placements, the possibility to study internationally, and committee opportunities that create valued links to our community partners.

Engaging community

The School of Health and Human Services (HHS) engages community!
All of our programs have you working in community either in practicum or clinical placements. We strive to recognize and reward excellence through our awards and scholarships. Our teachers are inspiring educators encouraging each learner to share their wisdom and knowledge.

Interdisciplinary Education

Interdisciplinary education is the process in which two or more disciplines purposely interact. The delivery of interdisciplinary educational programming will help prepare our graduates for employment in complex work environments where they can understand multiple perspectives, and work with a variety of disciplines, with a focus on the individual, families, and communities.

Our programs are constantly changing and evolving. Program Advisory Committees (PACs) provide advice on currency and relevance of our programs and creates a valued link to our community.
