Indigenous trades training at Camosun got a major boost with a $500,000 donation from TD Bank Group (TD).

It was a tough night on the court for the women’s volleyball team as they struggled against a strong Lakeland Rustlers team and fell short, settling for a silver at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championship.

The Chargers men’s volleyball team are once again Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) champions, after defeating the host team and three-time Ontario champions Humber Hawks in three straight sets. The Chargers won 25-19, 25-22, and 25-20.

Both Camosun Chargers volleyball teams are ready to serve it up at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) National Championships which take place March 8-11, 2023.

For the third time in four years, the Chargers are Pacific Western Athletic Association (PACWEST) bronze medallists after a 75-57 victory over the Langara Falcons.

In a re-match of last years game, the Chargers overcame the defending bronze medallists, Douglas Royals, 66-57 to earn the third-place finish at the 2023 Pacific Western Athletic Association (PACWEST) Championship.
